Notice to all Listed Companies/Securities Extension for Filing of Financial Statements (UPDATE #2)
Further to our Notice dated April 3rd, 2020, the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange Limited (TTSE) wishes to advise on further extension on the deadline date for Financial Statement submissions for our Listed Companies who have been impacted by the current pandemic situation.
Details of the revised extensions are as follows:
- For Annual Filings: the extension will be up to a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the original due date.
- For Quarterly Filings: the extension will be up to a period of seventy-five (75) calendar days from the original due date.
The aforementioned extension applies only to those filings that fall within the period 16th March 2020 to 01st June, 2020, in this instance, as we continue to monitor this very fluid situation.
We also take this opportunity to remind Listed Companies of their obligation under TTSE Rule 600 (6) and (7) and Rule 601 (3) and (4) in the event they are unable to meet the original and revised submission date.
The TTSE may, if necessary, consider further extensions to these deadlines, as deemed appropriate. However, all Listed Companies are encouraged to uphold their filing obligations under the TTSE Rules and submit these filings electronically, where possible. Submissions can be made to our normal TTSE channel, i.e. ttseinfo@stockex.co.tt.
